Design proposition for a wedding invitation

Delphine and Nicolas are friends of mine who got married in July 2006.
They asked me if I could prepare them some propositions for their wedding invitation card.
They were not looking for a conventional wedding invitation and therefore gave me their green light to come up with my vision, yet trying to express important aspects of their couple.

I prepared two designs…..

At the end, they sadly had to settle for something more conventional, but it was a nice experience!
